This App just makes me laugh. It’s called the Patriot App [iTunes link], and it’s designed to “[empower] citizens to assist government agencies in creating safer, cleaner, and more efficient communities via social networking and mobile technology.” That sounds suspiciously like the App intends to create a network of informants, but whatever. This is the world we live in now: if you see something, say something, no thinking allowed.
The App was created by a company called PatriotAppTV, which Info Wars says was founded by “insiders from [the Department of Homeland Security].” The App’s philosophy?
This app was founded on the belief that citizens can provide the most sophisticated and broad network of eyes and ears necessary to prevent terrorism, crime, environmental negligence, or other malicious behavior.
Woo, we’re all members of Civil Protection! Pick up that can!
The App lets people connect with organizations such as the FBI to report “suspicious activities” and matters dealing with national security.
At the very least the App is free.

It is better to stay at home and watch these pics rather than be there and feel the horror and black side of these streets. Photos are edited but they are still outstanding. Thanks to Xavier Nuez you can enjoy them.

So apparently in Japan there’s a market for small wind-up walking dog toys that you have to clean up after. Because that’s exactly what this Oshikko Inu toy does. And it’s not like it just drips water either while it wanders around, every so often it will stop, deliberately lift its leg, and let loose, as seen in this video of it in action.
I guess if people are willing to buy dolls that ‘wet the bed’ small plastic dogs are not that much of a stretch. And if cleaning up faux urine is your thing, you can pick one up from Strapya World in brown, black or white for $15.30 each.
Also, to whoever cooked up that product shot, I’ve got two words for you. Foot & model. They’re real, and there’s a reason they exist.
