GreenPoison RC6.1 Untethered 4.2.1 Jailbreak iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad & Apple TUTORIAL UPDATE !

Download: goo.gl or goo.gl Steps 1. First download Greenpois0n for Windows from the link above 2. Once the download is complete, move the archive . zip and unzip it on your desk. 3. Inside the folder find the file . exe of Greenpois0n, open it. 4. Open the program, click on the ‘Jailbreak’. 5. Greenpois0n will be shown in the instructions to put the device in DFU Mode (Press the Power button for two seconds, press Home + Power for 10 seconds, release the Power button and keep pressing Home). 6. If you have performed these steps correctly, your device will now be entered into DFU mode and then ready for the jailbreak. 7. From here on, the whole process will be automatic. The success of the operation will be confirmed directly by Greenpois0n. For those of you who don’t know, GreenPois0n is based on a low-level bootrom exploit which Apple won’t be able to patch with a new iOS firmware; instead, they will have to introduce a new hardware for the current devices to close the lopphole. webConnect Firmware Update Brings Minor Changes, Enhancements

With data all the rage these days we can understand the need for the wireless carriers to focus on software update for data sticks as well as phones themselves. Given that, T-mobile is dropping a firmware update for webConnect tomorrow that will bring stronger connectivity and a replaced network indicator symbol. Nothing earth shattering here but it’s always welcome to see improvements and enhancements that provide better service. Plus a “4G” network indicator is cooler than an “H+”.

Gingerbread OTA Update To Hit Nexus Ones Within The Next Few Days?

I know, I know — you’ve heard this tale before. According to the rumor mill, the Nexus One has pretty much been set to get Gingerbread “within the next few days” since a week after Gingerbread was announced 3 months ago.

But we’re here in Barcelona, and we’re just surrounded by Googlers. One of’em casually mentioned Gingerbread’s impending arrival on the Nexus One, only to clam up when we asked for clarification. So we dug elsewhere, and sure enough: according to a handful of independent sources, the Android Team is currently aiming to roll out Gingerbread on the Nexus One via Over The Air Update either late this week or early next.

Windows Phone 7′s Copy & Paste Update Coming In First Two Weeks Of March

Just a quick one for those keeping track (read: Windows Phone 7 handset owners): According to the mighty word of Ballmer himself, WP7′s first big update (the one containing copy-and-paste functionality) will be hitting sometime in “the first two weeks of March”.

This is a separate update from the other one that Microsoft detailed today, which will bring third-party multitasking functionality and Internet Explorer 9.
