Gunbrella Looks Like Something Out Of The ACME Catalog

What I like best about this Gunbrella is that there’s no doubt it was designed for novelty purposes. Unlike those Samurai sword handle umbrellas that have become popular as of late, which still look a little sketchy to me. The solid wood handle has a vague gun stock shape to it, but other than that, most people wouldn’t give it a second look until you pop open the canopy revealing a whimsical, explosive ‘BANG’ graphic on it. I mean there’s even a slight chance airport security wouldn’t even bat an eye at it…. maybe… and at the moment it’s on sale for ~$18 (£10.99).

T-Mobile Teases 3D Message, Something Is 3D

T-Mobile has taken it upon themselves to tease 3D in the least helpful way possible, by posting a vague picture of 3D glasses on Facebook. So what could it mean? Is it likely there is some sort of message here regarding the LG G-Slate and it’s rumored 3D capability? I think so. However, it could also be a reference to next set of Carly commercials in 3D, perhaps a Carly 3D Super Bowl commercial. Discuss!

Dell To Announce Something On February 8th, Presumably Involves Phones

Between Palm’s announcement on February 9th, and Sprint’s announcement on February 7th, next month is already looking pretty dang busy. Thank God we’ve got February 8th to relax and catch our breath!

Oh, what’s that? Dell is announcing something on February 8th? Well, crap.

We don’t know much about what Dell will be announcing (outside of the fact that it’s seemingly Business/Enterprisey) — but judging by the fact that they went out of their way to invite me (TechCrunch’s resident phone geek), we can probably assume it’ll have to do with smartphones in one way or another. We’ll be there live, so be sure to tune in on February 8th at 10 A.M Pacific, won’t you?
