KDDI introduces the Kyocera DIGNO a new Super-Slim Waterproof Smartphone with WiMAX

This is Kyocera’s first smartphone for the Japanese domestic market. The Kyocera DIGNO will be available on the au network as an autumn/winter 2011 model.
This model has a waterproof, slim body, and weighs 130 g. It runs Android 2.3, and supports WiMAX as well as 3G, enabling it to download data at speeds of up to 40 Mbps.

Kyocera unveils a new 7” WVGA display with wide View angle

Kyocera announced last week the TCG070WVLQ*PNN, a new 7” WVGA (800×480) display with LED backlight with an increased view angle and readability of 170 degrees.
