A project for The Art of Lost wordsinspired by forgotten words. This one is about the word “dehisce” that was done using 296 individual pieces of carved Linoleum. The word means ‘release of material by splitting open of an organ or tissue; the natural bursting open at maturity of a fruit or other reproductive body to release seeds or spores or the bursting open of a surgically closed wound’. Created by Markand sound by his friend Adam Dedman. -Hang-
