[CEATEC 2010] Toshiba introduces two 3D glassless TVs in Japan

Announced just a few hours before CEATEC 2010 grand opening, Toshiba unveiled today their two first glassless 3D TV in Japan with the GL1 series including a 12” portable model and 20” regular TV set.
The 20” model, the 20GL1 will come with a 1280×720 resolution with a 550:1 contrast ratio, Toshiba CELL Regza technology, two digital TV tuner, HDMI out (1080/60p and 1080/24p), Ethernet, and a USB Port, while the 12” 12GL1 will comes with a 466×350 resolution with a 500:1 contrast …

[Wireless Japan 2010] DoCoMo new 3D Glass-less LCD will put Sharp out of business.

Thought that Sharp’s 3D Glass-less LCD was cool? Well just wait to hear what’s DoCoMo has schedule for us for next year… Pretty much similar to what we have seen before, DoCoMo’s technology goes beyond what Sharp is offering today. Indeed, Sharp 3D monitor, the same one installed on the 3DS will work well only if you are perfectly in front of the monitor… If you move a few inches on the left or right your will immediately loose the 3D effect and will have to get back just in front …
