Update: While we’ve been guessing this for a while now, mocoNews is also reporting a rumor that T-Mobile will resurrect the Sidekick as an Android device. As the Sidekick line remains an iconic part of the T-Mobile brand it seems fitting to introduce an Android based Sidekick incorporating the best of both worlds, mainly the Android OS and the Sidekick form factor. Stay tuned!
Today, T-Mobile announced that it will be discontinuing its Sidekick handset line. Magenta states that as it looks to “further innovate and raise the bar for the next iteration of the T-Mobile Sidekick”, beginning tomorrow July 2nd, the Sidekick LX and Sidekick 2008 will no longer be available through T-Mobile retail stores, Customer Care, telesales, or online. Additionally, Magenta promises that it will be putting a twist on things by replacing the lineup with a “new and fresh experience” sometime in the coming months. This shouldn’t come as no surprise, as we’ve been expecting a replacement for awhile now.

I remember seeing this live, from around where this video starts.. You also have to consider that this was the DII championships and Winona St. were huge favorites that hadn’t even lost a game in forever..Barton comes back to win the national championship, down 7 with 45 seconds to play. The win ended Winona State’s 50+ game win streak, dating back to the ‘05-’06 season. This is probably the best ending to a basketball game that I have ever seen.
