If you’re still pretty shook up over the news that Sony had ceased production on their Walkman cassette players back in July, this iPhone decal will serve as a constant reminder of the days when you had to fast forward to hear a song you liked. Created and sold by Etsy member ‘shortsleevealliance‘ the decal is printed on high quality vinyl using solvent ink and are rated for about 5-7 years of “outdoor life”. So when the iPhone 9 or 11 rolls around, your iPhone 4 should still be looking great! $6 each, which isn’t too bad compared to other screen protectors.

Is This The CDMA iPhone 4? Probably Not, But Dream On – UPDATE

Not much to go on here but Giz’s tipster writes:

Our tipster claims that the Verizon iPhone has a “brushed aluminum back and a standard black front.” He says that they will come packaged with a bumper. He also points out that there will be a product(RED) version of this phone.


The product(RED) makes sense since only the aluminium devices come in multiple colors. Would they completely overhaul the iPhone 4 for a new carrier? Probably not, but if you still believe that Verizon is getting the iPhone sooner than later, this is fodder for your dreams.

UPDATE – Giz already took theirs down. False alarm, people. False alarm.

Luminara Dream Candles – Bring A Little Piece Of Disney’s Haunted Mansion Home

I’m surprised it’s taken this long for someone to realize that Disney’s Imagineers have created some cool stuff the public might actually want to get their hands on. But instead of an animatronic version of Abraham Lincoln, it’s the artificial candles seen in the Haunted Mansion ride that you’ll soon be able to buy for your own ghost-infested ballroom. The candles, which will be available in 5, 7 and 9-inch heights, feature a patented “Artificial Flame Technology” which makes them appear to flicker like a real flame, without the risk of burning down your house or dripping hot wax all over the place. Unfortunately they won’t be available until the Fall so there’s not a lot of detailed information like what batteries they take or even pricing at this time.
