Hot Pocket: Homemade Pizza Slice Sleeping Bags

FILED IN Entertainment No Comments

pizza-sleeping-bag-1.jpg

GIRL NOT INCLUDED.

This is a $300 sleeping bag that looks like a slice of pizza from Etsy seller brookish7. It’s perfect for the person eho’s always wanted to sleep in a tauntaun. No, no it’s not. It’s perfect for the person who’s always wanted to sleep in Pizza the Hutt. Me? I just wanted to lick his face. “You’re nibbling.” He’s so cheesy I can’t help it!

The sleeping bag is constructed by hand. I use recycled quilts for the stuffing. I dye the fabric for the cheese and sauce part myself. The bag is lined with satin which makes it not only adorable but luxurious and comfortable. The pillows are not attached to the bag so you can arrange them however you wish.

Dimensions are approximately 3 feet by 5 feet.

Damn, only 5 feet long. You almost had me too. Looks like I’ll have to hold out for a taco sleeping bag after all. “And what if nobody ever makes them?” Then I’ll die miserable. Probably in a pillow fort.

Hit the jump for a couple more shots, a BONUS baked potato beanbag chair and a link to Brook’s Etsy site. View full post on Geekologie – Gadgets, Gizmos, and Awesome

Pack Your Bags!: 50 New Planets Discovered, Possibly Including Habitable ‘Super-Earth’

FILED IN Entertainment No Comments

superearths.jpg

I have no idea what a ‘super-earth’ is but, using the power of deductive reasoning: if regular earth is where regular humans come from than a super-earth is where superhumans come from. Me? I’m just a mediocre human. One day I’ll help an old lady cross the street and the next one I’ll lay on the horn for the same grandma trying to do it in front of me. What can I say, I’m an @$$hole complex. Scientists using the European Southern Observatory’s telescope have just discovered over 50 new alien planets and believe at least one might be habitable. *packing bags* THIS SHIT BETTER NOT BE SOME F***ING DAGOBAH DUMP.

The newfound haul of alien planets includes 16 super-Earths, which are potentially rocky worlds that are more massive than our planet. One in particular — called HD 85512 b — has captured astronomers’ attention because it orbits at the edge of its star’s habitable zone, suggesting conditions could be ripe to support life.

The potentially habitable super-Earth, officially called HD 85512 b, is estimated to be only 3.6 times more massive than Earth, and its parent star is located about 35 light-years away, making it relatively nearby. HD 85512 b was found to orbit at the edge of its star’s habitable zone, which is a narrow region in which the distance is just right that liquid water could exist given the right conditions.

Wait — did that just say it’s only 35-light years away?! What are waiting for — if we leave now traveling at 671-MILLION MILES PER HOUR we could be there in 35-years! 40 if we have to keep stopping to piss because your parents never taught you how to rubberband your pecker on long car trips.

‘Super-Earth,’ 1 of 50 newfound planets, just might support life [msnbc]

Thanks to LupusYonderboy, Ali, Lance, SmellsLikeSheez and daniel, who are all welcome aboard my spaceship for the initial colonization BUT MUST BRING THEIR OWN RUBBERBANDS/GATORADE BOTTLES. View full post on Geekologie – Gadgets, Gizmos, and Awesome

Lamborghini Introduces A Line Of Carbon Fiber Bags

Branded accessories, like the Porsche ice cube tray we brought you earlier, are a clever way for supercar manufacturers to let everyone own a piece of a vehicle they may never be able to afford. But instead of producing a $19 novelty kitchen accessory, Lamborghini has introduced a collection of bags made from pre-stiffened carbon fiber.

As we all know carbon fiber is frequently used in the manufacturing of high performance cars since it’s both light and strong, but it’s also very expensive. Contributing to the astronomical cost of the vehicles, and unfortunately these bags. The cheapest of the lot, the Carbon Envelope Bag, sells for ~$1,224 (€850). While the top-of-the line Carbon Travel Soft Bag (aka duffel bag) comes in at around ~$2,090 (€1,450). In the middle you’ve also got the Carbon Messenger Bag for ~$1,512 (€1,050), with all of them being available sometime this Fall.
