How To Install Froyo On Your Vibrant!

Froyo for the Samsung Vibrant is FINALLY here and you’ve waited long enough so I won’t make you read any of my witty (and awesome) writing. T-Mobile posted a “how to install Froyo on your Vibrant” via their forums and we’ve taken a screen shot and posted it for your pleasure. I mean it’s one less click you have to make right? The less clicks you have to make the quicker you can be on your way to installing Froyo on your Vibrant!

    it’s not working on Win7 x64 for met, WININIT.dll error and apparently it’s not compatible with the OS. It’s loading on Vista x32bit but on stage two when the actual upgrade happens it asks to load a driver and that’s when it dies

    It didn’t recognize mine for a while. I kept trying plugging it in and unplugging it and it finally gave me the install.

    Unfortunately I ended up having to delete all user data to get my phone to boot. I tried hard reboot and got error codes.

    It’s running very nicely now but I’m having to reinstall all the apps. I also am having to go in and clear the download manager between downloads. This isn’t new to me. That has been an ongoing issue with the phone for me.

    So be patient and keep trying.

    Stupid Kies dies on Win 7. Keeps getting “application stopped responding”. I checked the forums and I’m not the only one. Any idea if they can upgrade this in the store?
